## About

One long shift. One dead city. Mercifall is a survival-horror beat 'em up: tight, weighty arcade brawling wrapped in the dread, scarcity, and atmosphere of survival horror. Every block of the city is an authored fight, and every bullet and every swing of a pipe counts.

## Premise

Mercifall's bridges are closed for the night. Officer Cole Mercer is on his first real night shift when his radio call goes unanswered. Nia Vargas, a night courier who knows the back roads, rides in because her sister Elena's phone keeps ringing out. Dispatch calls it a riot. The crowd on the avenue is walking toward the lights.

## Playable leads

- Cole Mercer: rookie officer on his first real night shift. The bruiser: heavier hits, a three-hit string, and a running knee that clears breathing room.
- Nia Vargas: night courier who knows every service road and back door. Faster on her feet, with a four-hit string and the Flashkick.
